Vokietijos ambasada Lietuvoje informavo LŽS, kad Badeno-Viurtembergo žemėje įsikūrusi ekonomikos skatinimo agentūra „Baden-Württemberg International" 2015 m. spalio 5-8 dienomis kviečia žurnalistus iš įvairių užsienio šalių į Badeną-Viurtembergą, į keturias dienas truksiančią kelionę tema „Atsinaujinantys energijos šaltiniai". Keliaudami Badeno-Viurtembergo žeme ir lankydamiesi įvairiose įstaigose, 8-10 žurnalistų turės galimybę susipažinti su Badeno-Viurtembergo žemės dedamomis pastangomis ir aktualia situacija atsinaujinančių energijos išteklių srityje Badeno-Viurtembergo žemėje. Šios kelionės stotelės bus mokslinių tyrimų institucijos ir universitetai, pavyzdinės įmonės ir modeliniai projektai bei politinės institucijos Štutgarte, Freiburge ir Karlsrūėje bei jų priemiesčiuose.

Atitinkamai pagal tematiką, tikslinė grupė yra žurnalistės ir žurnalistai, rašantys straipsnius mokslo/mokslinių tyrimų, visų pirma aplinkos/energetikos,  tema dienraščiuose, savaitraščiuose ar žurnaluose. Kadangi kelionė vyks anglų kalba, reikalingos atitinkamos anglų kalbos žinios.

Germany's energy transition envisages a shift toward energy being supplied primarily from renewable sources. The expansion of renewables is largely determined by central government policy but the german federal states (Bundesländer) also play a major role and could consequently make a significant contribution toward a successful energy transition.

The State of Baden-Württemberg, located in South West Germany, is one of the most prosperous regions in Europe. While lacking in natural resources, it has developed into a technology hub, with a high density of research institutions and high employment in high-tech and future technologies including green jobs and climate policies. The state aims to become a model region for combining prosperity and sustainability, focusing its economic development on growth areas of environmental technologies, renewable energy, resource efficiency and sustainable transport. These are areas where the state believes it can build on traditional strengths in engineering, automotive industries and electronics. The state aims to reduce GHG emissions by approximately 25% by 2020 and 90% by 2050 (compared to 1990 levels), and has enacted as one of the first states of Germany a ‘climate protection bill' and bottom-up ‘integrated concept for energy and climate protection' that will translate the goals into legally binding targets. In doing so Baden-Württemberg stands out with its exemplary energy policy framework for the expansion of renewable energy. 

Selected science journalists from different countries have the unique opportunity of being part of an exclusive press trip through Baden-Württemberg from October 5 - 8, 2015, which particularly will focus on renewable energies and will include visits in research institutions and universities, exemplary enterprises and projects, and political institutions (see enclosed programme). The programme will be performed in English. The trip will be organized by Baden-Württemberg International.
